PrepStore Refund & Return Policy

  1. This Refund and Return Policy applies to all products purchased from the PrepStore website. By placing an order on the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms set out in this Policy.
  2. PrepStore sells physical stationery and related products. Due to the nature of these products, returns and refunds are accepted only under the conditions described in this Policy.
  3. Customers are requested to inspect the delivered products at the time of receipt. If a product is received in a damaged, defective, or incorrect condition, the customer must notify PrepStore within forty eight hours of delivery.
  4. To request a return or refund, the customer must contact PrepStore through the official communication channels provided on the Site and provide order details, a description of the issue, and photographic or video evidence where applicable.
  5. PrepStore may reject any return or refund request if the customer fails to notify within the specified time period or fails to provide reasonable evidence of the issue.
  6. Returns are accepted only if the product is unused, unaltered, and in its original condition, including original packaging, labels, and accessories, unless the return is due to a defect or damage caused during delivery.
  7. Products that show signs of use, tampering, writing, marking, tearing, or damage caused by the customer are not eligible for return or refund.
  8. Certain products, including but not limited to notebooks, books, exam materials, customized items, and consumable stationery, may not be eligible for return once opened or used, unless received in a damaged or defective condition.
  9. If a return request is approved, PrepStore will provide instructions regarding the return process. Customers must follow the provided instructions to ensure successful processing of the return.
  10. Customers may be required to return the product to a designated address or hand it over to a delivery partner, depending on the nature of the return and the delivery method used.
  11. Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to an error on the part of PrepStore, such as delivery of an incorrect, defective, or damaged product.
  12. Once the returned product is received and inspected, PrepStore will notify the customer regarding approval or rejection of the refund or replacement.
  13. If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible. In the case of Cash on Delivery orders, refunds may be made through mobile financial services or bank transfer.
  14. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method used and third-party payment service providers. Generally, refunds are processed within seven to ten working days after approval.
  15. PrepStore is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or mobile financial service providers once the refund has been initiated.
  16. In cases where a replacement is approved instead of a refund, PrepStore will arrange for the replacement product to be delivered to the customer, subject to product availability.
  17. PrepStore reserves the right to refuse refunds or returns if fraudulent activity, misuse of the return policy, or repeated unreasonable claims are detected.
  18. Orders cancelled by the customer after shipment or delivery may not be eligible for a refund. Cancellation requests must be made before the order is shipped.
  19. If an order is cancelled by PrepStore due to stock unavailability or operational issues, the full amount paid by the customer will be refunded.
  20. PrepStore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of products purchased from the Site.
  21. This Policy is subject to change at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be posted on the Site, and continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
  22. This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.

General Return Guidelines

  1. Items purchased from PrepStore may be returned or exchanged within seven days from the date of delivery for online orders.
  2. All return or exchange requests must be supported by valid proof of purchase, including the original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation issued by PrepStore.
  3. Returned items must be in their original, resalable condition. This requires that the products remain unopened where applicable and are free from damage, marks, writing, alterations, or any other signs of use.

Returns by Product Type

  1. Stationery items, including but not limited to notebooks, pens, pencils, and paper products, are eligible for return only if they are in their original packaging, unopened, and unused.
  2. Individual stationery items such as pens or pencils must not have been tested, written with, or otherwise used in any manner to qualify for return or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items

  1. Gift cards are final sale items and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances.
  2. Clearance or sale items are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item is received in a defective or damaged condition at the time of delivery.
  3. Items that are damaged, altered, misused, or mishandled by the customer are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
  4. Consumable items, including but not limited to used paint, opened ink cartridges, or partially used pads of paper, are not eligible for return or exchange once opened or used.

Process for Return & Exchanges

  1. To initiate a return or exchange, customers must contact PrepStore customer support through the official Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/prepstore or by calling 01787-852989, and must provide the order number along with the reason for the return or exchange.
  2. Customers must carefully package the product to prevent damage during transit. The customer shall be responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed by PrepStore.
  3. Customers must contact PrepStore to receive confirmation and instructions regarding the return address or return method before shipping any product.

Refunds

  1. Refunds for approved returns will be issued to the original method of payment used for the purchase.
  2. Customers should allow five to ten business days from the date the returned item is received for the refund to be processed and reflected in their account or statement.
  3. Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error or defect caused by PrepStore.
